“There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photos.” - Ansel Adams

Behind the Lens

Photography has been with me for as long as I can remember. Long before I ever considered posting my photos, it was a way of seeing — a way to pause, frame, and hold onto a moment before it slipped away. Over the years, the camera has become more than a tool. It's been a companion on mountain trails, quiet mornings, road trips, and turning points. It’s how I document not just what I see, but what I feel — and it’s how I tell stories when I’m at a loss for words.

I started with film cameras, back when every frame mattered — when you waited days to see what you captured. This was long before social media, before the scroll, before we were all publishing to the world. Photography wasn’t something I did for an audience. I did it because I loved it. It was something I’d share with friends and family, quietly, personally — a memory passed hand to hand, not through a feed.

My camera has always come with me — slung over my shoulder, sometimes frozen in the cold mountains, sometimes sandy from a beach. It’s been part of my everyday life, a constant presence that helps me slow down, see more, and capture what matters.

This page is a collection of those moments — glimpses of stillness, movement, beauty, and clarity. Behind the lens.
